Headquatered in New York City, the VIDITalk Corporation (www.viditalk.com) provides video creation and streaming solutions for enterprise, government, and consumer markets. Its flagship software product, VIDITalk ® is an easy-to-use application and online service that allows users to create video messages from their desktop and instantly deliver them around the world through streaming technology. Through its VIDIMe programs, VIDITalk Corp. supports thousands of military personnel and their families with video e-mail services.

VIDITalk extends the ability of My Soldier participants in allowing them to send high-quality streaming video messages via e-mail. The program uses free software, an internet e-mail account, and a computer camera. There are no attachments or files to download off the e-mails containing VIDITalk messages, making them faster to send and easier to access. Unfortunately there’s not yet a version of VIDITalk for MAC computers.

The recipients of the video e-mail are notified of awaiting content in their standard e-mail inbox. The video messages are then streamed through their web browser instead of being loaded as a time-consuming download. The end result is a new form of communication that is dynamics in its effect, yet simple and efficient in its application.
